Hi, I'm Gal Benkin, 28 years old.

Growing up, I was the only girl with an afro curls hair in a group of straight-haired friends. this made me feel different and out of place. I spent years trying to straighten my hair to fit in, but my mom always reminded me that my curls were a part of what made me unique.

It wasn't until my twenties that I truly embraced my curls and saw them as a symbol of my individuality and strength. This journey of self-acceptance inspired me to create Wholein by Benkin. I want to help others who feel different or out of place to embrace their natural beauty and uniqueness.

Our hats are designed to celebrate curls, featuring vibrant colors and empowering messages. The hat answers a solution to the problem - a hat for curly hair that does not exist like it, around the world. They're more than just accessories—they're a statement of self-love, acceptance and confidence.
